After 4,950 minutes of play, 153 goals, 52 matches, 24 teams, two finalists and one champion, it is all over! The FIFA U-20 World Cup Poland 2019 drew to a close in Lodz after four weeks of action as Ukraine won their first-ever World Cup title. With excitement right to the final whistle, the Eastern European side’s 3-1 win over Korea Republic in the final was a fitting conclusion to this gathering of the world’s best youth sides, with many memorable moments, records, personal bests and strong individual and team performances.

With the final of the FIFA U-20 World Cup Poland 2019 fast approaching, Polish Football Association president and Biało-czerwoni legend Zbigniew Boniek sat down with FIFA.com to offer perspective on the competition and beyond. Boniek says he is extremely happy with how the U-20 World Cup has gone in his home country both in the stands and on the pitch. In terms of the final, the Polish football great considers Ukraine to be slight favourites, but also points out the qualities that have enabled Korea Republic to get so far.

Impreza zostanie rozegrana od 23 maja do 15 czerwca. Na niecałe pół roku przed tym wydarzeniem FIFA i Lokalny Komitet Organizacyjny (LOC) zaprezentowały oficjalne logo imprezy i kalendarz meczów.
